Glory Food’s® Power Essence™ blends featured at Fresh Summit

At the PMA Fresh Summit, Robinson Fresh will be showcasing its Glory Food’s® Power Essence™ blends. The three retail items include: 
- A 10 oz. bag of kale and shaved Brussels sprouts
- A 10 oz. bag of kale, collard and turnip greens and 
- A 13.25 oz. bag of kale, spinach and chard. 

“Power Essence™ was launched in response to consumer’s continued request for innovative new products and a heightened interest in healthy food,” says Drew Schwartzhoff with Robinson Fresh. “In addition, kale and other nutrient-dense leafy greens, such as chard and spinach, have experienced significant growth within the past five years.” The three Power Essence™ blends are a unique blend of traditional cooking greens and popular leafy greens. “They are versatile and flavorful, designed to offer consumers a bold, sensory experience when adding to a salad, smoothie, or used as a recipe ingredient,” added Schwartzhoff.

In addition to Glory Food’s® Power Essence™, a variety of products from renowned national and proprietary brands will be on display, including Mott’s®, Tropicana®, Welch’s®, Green Giant® Fresh, Happy Chameleon, MelonUp!® and Pink Ribbon. A variety of vegetable items will also be displayed at the Green Giant® Fresh booth, #1347, including asparagus, avocados, cucumbers, peppers, zucchini, and eggplant.

“At our booth, we will be mixing up smoothies, using Glory Food’s® Power Essence™ blend recipes and other samples,” mentioned Schwartzhoff. “So make sure you come by and visit booth #2035.” Another reason to stop by the booth is to get an opportunity to meet with transportation representatives from C.H. Robinson. They will be available to speak with customers about over-the-road, ocean and air transportation as well as managed services.
