Germany: import covers demand for lamb's lettuce

In Germany, harvest quantities of lamb's lettuce have been decreasing very rapidly since the start of December, the German Agrarmarkt Informations-Gesellschaft (AMI) reports on its website.

In Northern Germany, the open field harvest was already concluded during the first week of December. That means the German market will be mostly serviced by imported produce from week 50 onwards.
