Prunes from Chile launches new promotional campaign in Mexico
With the launch of the second stage of Prunes from Chile's promotional campaign in the Mexican market, the Chilean Prunes association, with support from ProChile, is helping boost this product's sales in Mexico. "The ultimate goal is to increase sales in the Mexican market, supporting importers and distributors by promoting Prunes from Chile as a differentiated brand," said Andres Rodriguez, vice president of Chile Prunes.
In the case of dried prunes, the brand Prunes from Chile has done a great job promoting the product. "We are committed to helping our partners find new opportunities and get in touch with Mexican importers. Historically, Mexico has been one of the three most important markets for our exports," says the executive.
It is worth noting that Mexico is the largest market for dried prunes, with over eight thousand tonnes exported each year. "They are very popular amongst Mexican consumers, so that in order to capture a greater market share the key is differentiation based on good quality and reliability," concludes the vice president of Chile Prunes.
