Fruit and vegetable carnival fascinates tourists in Shanghai

The fruit and vegetable carnival was opened in Shanghai on September 26. At the entrance to the event two giant vines create the atmosphere of the fairy tale Jack and the Beanstalk. Further along in the carnival you can see a fruit and vegetable Eiffel Tour and a Monet garden. Both of these structures were built in honour of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and China.

The month long event is meant for the whole family. There is special area just for children that is shaped as a children's farm and a magic show. Adults can enjoy tasting freshly prepared salads and organic fruit, and they can browse through a variety of garden tools that are for sale.
