US: Jeff Pryor joins Idaho Potato Commission

Jef Pryor has joined the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) foodservice marketing team as Promotions Director for the Southeast. Working closely with Don Odiorne, Vice President-Foodservice and the other regional foodservice promotion directors, Pryor will lead the marketing outreach to distributors and produce specialists in his territory, as well as conduct Idaho® potato product seminars and educational sessions, and represent the brand and industry at foodservice trade shows. “We welcome Jef, and look forward to adding his impressive foodservice resumé to the team’s profile,” said Odiorne.

Replacing Ray Hepler who is retiring after 16 years with the IPC, Pryor brings a wealth of produce and foodservice experience to his new position. For the past 25 years, Pryor led produce procurement at Performance Food Service in Little Rock AR, where he was responsible for produce purchasing, education, sales training and customer support. Prior to his move to Performance Foods, Pryor was a regional sales manager at Sysco and a territory sales manager for Ben E. Keith.

Prior is a graduate of Arkansas State University/Jonesboro.
