Belgian company Lejeune opens its doors

On 27 and 28 October the open door days at Lejeune took place. There were product presentations, tastings, cooking demonstrations and all products of various
suppliers were displayed in a beautiful manner. Lejeune is mainly known for Spanish vegetables and Belgian grapes, but in addition also offers the complete fruit and vegetable assortment. Manager Beny Vanderborght and sales persons Luc Desees and Mien Verschelden were very happy with the open door days. In the meantime visitors could enjoy the lovely snacks and drinks.

Lejeune is part of Group A. de Witte and is situated at 'Frugo' in Sint-Katelijne-Waver, the Belgian fruit and vegetable centre and close to Mechelse Veilingen. Of course the brands Cibel and Cebon of the group were presented. "The strength of Lejeune are the large volumes and also the fact that there is a strong group behind them," Achiel de Witte says. "These days are a complete success," Beny Vanderborght adds. "This is the first time we have organised open days and it all went extremely well. The attendance was satisfying and this is the correct moment to meet customers and suppliers again and to maintain contact. Especially on Sunday there were many visitors and the reactions were very positive. Also the standholders mentioned that these were fruitful days."
