Gruventa presents new pomegranate variety at Fruit Attraction
The exporter Gruventa, based in Lorquí, Spain, will present its new pomegranate variety, Mollar Roja, which is to be traded under the firm's own brand and is also bound to be innovative and to convince even the most demanding customers.
Innovation and sweetness are two of the qualities defining this new pomegranate variety, Mollar Roja, commercialised by Gruventa and distributed through all the major channels. In this sense, the general director of the firm, Fermín Sánchez Navarro, explained that "this variety is characterised by its sweet taste and, especially, by its intense red colour which customers find very attractive. Furthermore, the tree is almost thornless and is very productive, around 30,000 to 35,000 kilos per hectare.
"Gruventa believes that it will have a great international demand, especially in Central Europe, which is why we are feeling very confident about it," says Fermín Sánchez.
