Netherlands: Sakata presents new outdoor varieties

The steady growth of Sakata continues and it was clear to see during the open days in Zwaagdijk last week. The Japanese based seedling company, that is celebrating one hundred years of business next year, presented a few newcomers alongside its regular assortment. Sakata, a 'big player' in broccoli, made an appearance in Zwaagdijk with new types of cauliflower, flat cabbage and mini-beets. There was also an exhibition of all the breeds and varieties Sakata has to offer.
