Fourth Red Fruit Festival will be held in Kénitra, Morocco

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Forests, the Regional Office for Agricultural Development of GHARB, the Moroccan Interprofessional Federation of Red Fruits, and the KA Province of Kenitra, the 4th Red Fruit Festival will be held in the town of Kenitra from June 7 to 11. The event will have more than 500 producers participating.

The Moroccan fruit industry is preparing to reach 350.000 tons of production of strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries in the short term, an objective that reinforces the sector as a very important factor for the country's economy. The production of red fruits in Morocco is developed in an approximate area of ​​13.500 hectares, of which 4.080ha are dedicated to the cultivation of blueberries, 4.600ha to raspberries, and 3.080ha to the production of strawberries, of which 75% are located in the north of the country.
