Barbara Doria and Enzo Bassi, B2A

"We are seeing a high demand for robots right now"

At B2A, a northern Italian company, the number of requests for robotic equipment is constantly increasing. The company recently celebrated its 10th anniversary and will exhibit at Fruit Logistica.

"We were able to close 2022 with new clients in our database. Despite all the difficulties encountered last year, we are satisfied with the results achieved. We are registering an ever-increasing demand for industrial, collaborative, and autonomous robots. We design and build automated isles with anthropomorphic robots, Scara's (selective compliance assembly/articulated robot arm), systems with collaborative robots (cobots - robots able to work in the presence of humans), and self-driving vehicles that move goods within the warehouse," says Barbara Doria, partner, and head of administration and marketing at B2A.

"We are focused on providing customized solutions, such as linking the (existing) machines to advanced business management systems. This includes bringing in production orders, automatically setting up the machines involved, collecting process data, sending the summary data back to management, tracing the batches of all components that make up the final product, and timing the individual processing stages, from the arrival of the primary goods to the dispatch of the final product," adds managing director Enzo Bassi.

Innovation
To support clients in optimizing production processes, B2A is increasingly offering customized solutions.

"With a single reference partner that centers and coordinates all phases of the internal production process, it will be easier and faster to achieve goals. With its know-how, the B2A team applies skills that leverage the latest developments in information technology, such as augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI), and algorithms underlying autonomous vehicle propulsion. B2A is transforming machines from standard to 4.0," concludes Bassi.

B2A is an exhibitor at Fruit Logistica: hall 6.2, stand B-42.
