The Organizzazione di Produttori Terre della Luce will be attending the Fruit Logistica trade fair in Berlin again this year, for the fifth time. "The German fruit and vegetable fair,' says Alberto DeVincenzis, the producers' organizations sales manager, 'is a very important annual appointment due to the large number of buyers.

"For those who produce and market strawberries, the three-day event is an important occasion, precisely because the time in which it takes place coincides with the start of the new campaign. Therefore, taking part in it helps boost the company's image in terms of reliability and reputation, as well as allowing us to develop new commercial channels, which are necessary in such an uncertain context,' says DeVincenzis.
The producers' organization is mainly characterised by the production of strawberries, exclusively grown in the Metapontino area, in Basilicata. " This is a product that, together with berries, accounts for more than 80 per cent of the company's entire turnover. The new season started a few weeks ago and so far it looks like it is moving in the right direction, although difficulties are not lacking,' continues De Vincenzis.
"In Berlin we will be presenting the renowned strawberries from Basilicata. Several dozen kilograms of fresh fruit will leave tomorrow from our warehouse in Policoro, to reach Messe Berlin on Monday afternoon. Visitors will be able to taste the strawberries, covered in a tasty vanilla cream, prepared and served by the chefs at the stand.”
The producers' organization Terre della Luce will be located in Hall 4.2-D.33, together with the Region and other POs operating from Basilicata. Alberto DeVincenzis (sales manager) and Graziana Suriano (executive sales manager) will be present at the fair.
