Patatas Hijolusa, S.A. continues to consolidate its growth plan and began 2023 by purchasing a majority stake in the Natuber company (Transformados de Patata de Álava, S.L.), a leader in the IV range of potatoes destined for Spain's Horeca sector.
The operation carried out by Patatas Hijolusa guarantees the continuity of the business project of Natuber - which will continue to be managed by Alberto Fernandez de Retana and Carlos Angulo -, and pursues the promotion of its progress and upward evolution plans by establishing synergies of joint development.
With this addition, Hijolusa confirms its constant positive evolution and advances in its expansion objectives by establishing its business model and strengthening its strategic position within the national fruit and vegetable sector.

In 2022 Natuber marketed more than 10 million kilos of peeled and cut potatoes. In 2023, the company expects to increase its sales by nearly 20%.
Meanwhile, Patatas Hijolusa marketed more than 163 million kilos and increased its turnover by more than 30% over the previous year.
