Lytone introduced a novel fertilizer ‘Azolyte’

“We are happy to see our crop nutrient solution boost the grape quality in Brazil”

Starting from October 2022, grape vineyards around the city of Petrolina, Brazil, began their busy harvesting season. The relatively warm and dry climate in this region, with abundant irrigation resources from the São Francisco River valley, provides an ideal land for agricultural activities. Around 90% of the table grape production is exported to EU market, which generates huge profits for the industry every year. Varieties of table grapes from Petrolina include some well-known cultivars such as Thomson, Red Globe, Sugar Crisp, or local breeds such as Victoria or ISIS.

However, just like other agriculture economy faced with international competition, Brazilian growers are always seeking ways to increase production quality and yield. The recent arrival of a new product from Taiwan has created a new opportunity.

Mr. Daniel Lima, is the CEO of Lytone Brazil: “It’s a milestone for us to introduce Lytone’s Azolyte, a novel fertilizer consisting of more than 60 trace elements, to contribute to color change and firmer quality of table grapes in Petrolina. Since last year, we have been cooperating with local growers to conduct field trials and collect results to prove Azolyte’s excellent efficacy. Now we are ready to expand the benefit and offer a prosperous opportunity to our customers.”

With the application of Azolyte, Lytone hears from growers that they constantly find their grapes amazingly develop a more uniform color change, from green juveniles to full-grown red or black fruits. “For those green-matured varieties, Azolyte helps the grapes to develop a stronger firmness and higher sugar content. Some growers believe that Azolyte as a fertilizer, performed better than plant growth regulators,” Daniel said.

Mr. Basilio Huang is the technical sales representative from Lytone Enterprise (Taiwan), “We are excited to share this experience with more vineyards. By applying Azolyte, growers can expect a better color change while avoiding the negative side-effects resulting from inappropriate plant hormone application.”

Lytone Enterprise (Taiwan) and its local partner Lytone Brazil are planning to introduce more agricultural technologies, collectively LytoFreshTM, to growers, packers, wholesalers and retailers and even the consumers. It can be used on fruits, high value crops, vegetables, and ornamentals.

“Individual products with the brand name of AnsiP®, KaDoZan®, Natacoat®, Chitamin® and Azolyte®, etc., will all be introduced by both parties. LytoFreshTM  has a large database that can support customers big and small, tailoring to individual needs without any major investment while emphasizing quick, effective and user-friendly solutions,” Mr. Basilio Huang said.
