The popularity of mangoes is increasing and, along with it, the demand and volumes produced. For this reason, Italy's PND company, which provides technological solutions aligned with the new consumption habits, has dedicated an entire line composed of 3 machines to this fruit: the PL6M peeler, the SS8 pitting machine and the SCM slicer/cubing machine.

"We have noticed that one of the most requested machines is the PL6M mango peeler, hand-loaded, strictly made in Italy and protected by a patent registered in 2012. It has more than 160 units sold in Europe, the United States and especially Central and South America, which began to invest in machinery and replace labor only in the last 3 years. The machine loads 6 fruits, peeling 40 per minute. We have a large capacity output, with as much as 800 kg per hour. The whole process, then, turns out to be within sight of the operator and does not need any settings," said Gianluca Giordano, Latam / Apac Sales Area Manager of PND.
Since 2000, PND has been focusing its efforts on the production of machinery for the processing of fruit, not least tropical fruit.

There are also two other machines, also made of stainless steel, which are easy to use and quick to maintain and sanitize. The SS8 pitting machine allows cutting in different shapes and sizes, thanks to the option of replacing dies and pads, while the semi-automatic SCM, made for cutting into segments and cubes, features a two-station, two-station loading belt.
