The average weighted price for peaches (in € per 100 kgs) stood at €128 in week 37 of 2022. That is an 11% drop compared to last month. It is also 37% higher than the weekly 5-year average.
In Spain, the prices came out at €116 per 100 kgs, which is 63% higher than the weekly 5-year average, and a 15% drop compared to last month.
Production of peaches and nectarines in the 2020/21 season stood at a total of 3,346,000 tons, of which the share of nectarines stood at 975,000 tons.
