From now and throughout 2023, Limoneira will be sharing images, videos, and stories from its path from a two-person partnership with a vision of a thriving California citrus industry to a global business with employees and partners across the world. Even as Limoneira looks toward the future, it remains committed to maintaining its Tradition, Heritage, and Legacy in Agriculture.
A hallmark of Limoneira is its deep commitment to its employees and to sustainable practices. Many of the employees that compose its unique corporate culture have worked here for years, decades, and even generations. An example is Harold S. Edwards, the sixth and current President / CEO, who has not only led the company for two decades, but also is the fifth generation who has become part of Limoneira’s family. He notes, “Every new or old member of Limoneira is celebrated as another unique addition to our most important asset, our people.”
Limoneira also takes particular pride in its cultivation of the land that started its heritage in 1893 and the land acquired since then. Located in Ventura County, Limoneira’s citrus continues to thrive on the same land for 130 years due to its legacy of using only the highest quality and sustainable agricultural practices.
