Non-traditional agro-industrial exports from Peru reached US$3,579 million between January and June 2022, a variation of 11.2% and representing 88.6% of the total. Fresh grapes (at US$595,479,000) saw an increase of 17.2%, followed by avocados with US$518,471,000 (-16.2%) and fresh or dried mangoes with US$207,519,000 (-9.1%).
Peru’s agricultural exports (traditional and non-traditional) amounted to about US$4,039 million in the first half of 2022, registering a growth of 20.6% compared to the same period last year. North American destinations primarily demanded fresh grapes ($297,146,000), avocados ($115,494,000), coffee ($101,475,000), cranberries ($86,336,000), fresh asparagus ($78,774,000) and fresh mangoes ($52 million, 489,000) .
