Peach valley supplies bulk of stone fruit throughout India

The Rajgarh region of Sirmaur district -also known as Peach valley- is currently supplying the bulk of stone fruits to North Indian fruit markets. Every day, Peach Valley Rajgarh delivers many boxes of peach, apricot, palm to various mandis around the country.

The Rajgarh peach is considered very famous for its excellent quality, taste, and size, due to which there is a different identity in the country by the name of Peach Valley of Rajgarh. According to departmental sources, an average of 6,000 tons of peaches are produced every year in Peach Valley Rajgarh. There are peach orchards on about three thousand hectares of land in Rajgarh area, in which July Albert variety of peach is produced the most.

About 15,000 tons of fruit is produced in Rajgarh Valley every year, in which 6,000 tons of peaches, 3,580 tons of plums, 4,000 tons of apples and 1,200 tons of apricot are produced.
