Customized for the Chinese market

"Taste New Zealand" co-branded fruit gift box launched

A few days ago, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, together with Joy Wing Mau Fruit Technology Group, and eight well-known New Zealand fruit exporters, Bostock, Mr Apple, Zespri, Rockit, Freshmax, Golden Bay Fruit, T&G Global, and Freshco, launched a "Taste New Zealand" fruit gift box customized for the Chinese market.

The fruit gift box contains more than ten high-end brand fruits from New Zealand, and most of them are exclusive varieties researched and developed in New Zealand. The fruits in the gift box include Zespri kiwifruits, Envy apples, Dazzle apples, Rockit apples, Jazz apples, Queen apples, Cherish apples, Organic Fuji apples, Breeze apples, Sonya apples, PiqaBoo pears, and more.

New Zealand is a world-renowned high-quality fruit-producing region, with a unique natural environment, excellent new product research and development capabilities, and off-season supply in the northern and southern hemispheres. Its fruit industry is a world leader.

China is New Zealand's largest trading partner. The five-year compound annual growth rate of New Zealand's fruit exports to China has reached 12.6%, showing great potential for industry development.

In 2021, New Zealand's total fruit exports reached 1.04 million tons, of which exports to China account for 14.9%, ranking first.

Among the fruit categories China imports from New Zealand, kiwifruit and apples have become the two key fruit categories. About 94% of China's imported kiwifruit and about 70% of imported apples come from New Zealand. New Zealand fruits are popular with consumers in China and around the world for their natural nutrition, excellent taste and appearance.
