Truffleat is a company based in Italy and Thailand and founded by Roberto Ugolini (pictured). "In the Asian market we are well-known importers of truffles, a niche product that we have introduced through the haute cuisine channel in countries with a gastronomic culture, in terms of traditions and taste, very distant from our Mediterranean cuisine. With a networked organization supported by all the required export licenses, we have begun to market private label processed products, with a good quality/price ratio and in attractive packaging with great attention to every detail," said Roberto Ugolini, export manager and director of Truffleat.

It is a rapidly expanding market, with a growth trend of at least 12 percent per year in the retail and Horeca sales channels. The creation of processed products, both for professional chefs and large-scale retailers, and supported by high-quality at the right price (thanks to the short supply chain that reduces the number of steps) allows even middle-income families the opportunity to enjoy our ready-to-use condiments," explained Roberto Ugolini.
There is a wide range of references in the catalog, most of them related to the production season and the specialties that distinguish Italian territories, rich in biodiversity.
The Truffleat line is dedicated to truffle lovers with exclusive products based on fresh truffles, sold by the kilo. The company ships fresh Italian short supply chain truffles via DHL courier, carefully packaged and labeled with a guarantee of quality and origin, in compliance with the fresh supply chain.
The Ugolini Line boasts a wide range of 100% Italian products, carefully selected for their quality and peculiarities, and prepared according to regional tradition. The spearhead of the processed products contemplates, for example, the classic pistachio cream, both sweet and truffle; processed Tropea onion; red pesto made from dried tomatoes; and Basil Pesto with Truffle and without Truffle, available in standard 180-gram formats.

As an example, the references processed with pistachios are produced in Bronte (Catania), an area on the slopes of Mount Etna renowned worldwide for a pistachio of great commercial value, due to its limited availability. We produce not only the classic sweet spreadable cream, but a wide variety of pestos and pistachio pâtés enriched with porcini mushrooms, truffles and garlic, available in 190-gram sizes.
