The Dutch green bean season has started at Fresh2You. "We are in the middle of picking. We are very satisfied with the quality," says Remko Oirbans, of Fresh2You.
"We are starting very early this year. We may even be the first. We've had favorable weather, despite the changing conditions. Our Dutch broccoli also arrived several weeks earlier this season, compared to last year."
"The customers willing to continue working with Moroccan beans can do it with us until at least July 8. The Moroccan beans, presented in 5 kg boxes, are very attractive, so I imagine customers will continue to buy Moroccan beans for as long as they remain available."
Fresh2You has a year-round supply of green beans from its own growing locations. "Here we follow the seasons. In early October we expect to start again with the Moroccan green beans," says Remko.
