Agricultural products in Vietnam’s Central Highlands will be exported to foreign countries after they are granted a planting area code. Local administrations in provinces in the Central Highlands region are creating conditions to accelerate the granting of planting area codes toward sustainable agricultural production.
Over the past two years, several investors in the field of agriculture in the Central Highlands have been setting up growing area codes and packing facilities.
Typically, Gia Lai Province has 55 growing area codes and 21 fresh fruit packing establishments such as mangoes, dragon fruit, jackfruit, bananas, and watermelons that are eligible for export through official channels to China, Australia, New Zealand, and the USA.
