New brand identity for G. Kramer & Sons Beheer

Kramer Food Family opens new office building and expresses international ambitions

On Wednesday 22 June, the new identity of Kramer Food Family was launched, the new international name for G. Kramer & Zonen management. The Family consists of 8 participations in vegetable processing companies in Europe. In the Netherlands, these are, in addition to Koninklijke Vezet Warmenhuizen and Vezet Keuken Purmerend, Tuinderij Vers and Food Connect Almelo, which all work together in a strategic partnership with Albert Heijn and AholdDelhaize. Together with Albert Heijn, Food Connect Almelo recently launched the new name 'Meal at Home from AH'.

In Belgium, the Kramer Food Family has a stake in Agrafesh
Belgium and France, together with Koninklijke Vezet they supply Delhaize, Belgium. In Jung Gartenfrisch, a leading player on the German market, KFF acquired a participating interest in autumn 2021. In Scandinavia, there are participations in Vidinge, Sweden, which also supplies Denmark. And finally Klar Norway, which also has customers there.

The new identity is a solid logo where several forces come together and sprout, in the form of a lively green "K", supported by the name Kramer Food Family in warm orange. Kramer Food Family's ambition is to feed the world in a healthy and plant-based way. For the benefit of a healthy body and from a healthy chain. Accessible to everyone and everywhere. They want to do this together, in a respectful manner, with a lot of pleasure and with an enterprising spirit.

Since 2020 the Kramer Food Family has grown enormously and is now one of the largest vegetable processors in Europe. The common denominator of all the companies belonging to the Kramer Food Family is that they are all family businesses with their roots in fruit and vegetables from the land, prepared for the consumer. Lettuce and salads are the biggest products at the participations outside the Benelux. In the Benelux, the supply is more varied, which is the effect of years of innovation and experimentation. We would like to achieve this diversification in the other European countries too. Therefore the Kramer Food Family, from Warmenhuizen, will coach and facilitate the other participations in innovation. The intention is also that the international network will share best practices with each other in the field of efficiency, sourcing and processing.

On Tuesday 21 June, the foundation stone of the new building was laid by Marit van Egmond, the Hans Boshuizen, former General Manager of Koninklijke Vezet and Eveline Kramer, fifth generation Kramer, daughter of Board Chairman Frans J.N. Kramer and Caroline de Waard. The architect of the new building, BBHD Architects & Engineers from Alkmaar, was inspired by the former Sauerkraut factory, where it all started in 1914 at the Oudevaart in Warmenhuizen.
