Myanmar green bananas are allowed to export to China

On June 14, the General Administration of Customs of China announced that, in accordance with relevant Chinese laws and regulations and the Protocol of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Irrigation of the Union of Myanmar on the Phytosanitary Requirements for Myanmar Bananas Exported to China, with immediate effect, the import of Myanmar bananas that meet the relevant requirements is now allowed.

The bananas referred to in this quarantine requirement refer to unripe green bananas harvested within 10-11 weeks after flowering, and any yellow bananas shall not be exported to China.
