Post-harvest technologies applied in packaging for storage and transport produce on display at HORTITEC 2022

With improvements in design and constructive characteristics, the conservative EPS boxes from DaColheita increase gains in storage, freight reduction and quality of fresh products. The most recent innovations in the line of EPS conservators DaColheita manufactured by Termotécnica will be presented at HORTITEC 2022 (the Technical Exhibition of Horticulture, Protected Cultivation and Intensive Cultures) held from June 22nd to 24th, in Holambra (SP).

Termotécnica has been participating in these national and international events and partnering with sector entities to develop technologies that help FFLV producers (Flowers, Fruits, Vegetables and Vegetables) to serve consumer markets in Brazil and in the world.

In order to meet customer demands and bring more advantages in terms of costs and functionality, the multipurpose DaColheita 5 and 8 kilo crates received a new design that is more resistant to handling and stacking, which makes it possible to store different types and sizes of fruit and fresh products. The new packaging expands the internal volume capacity, providing better logistical use. They can be used for grapes of different sizes and are multipurpose, that is, they can be used for persimmon, pitaya, kiwi, tomato, among other fruits and vegetables.
