Catalytic Generators has been focusing on fruit ripening by ethylene application for almost 50 years. The company was established in the United States, but their ethylene products make their way across the globe. Back in 2015, a partnership started with Leigh Cummin in Australia with the goal to bring a safer, easier, and less expensive method of ethylene application to Australian ripeners.
Since then, the company has had a presence at Hort Connections and will be exhibiting for the eighth year. “It is the most efficient and successful way to keep in touch with our customers,” says Leigh Cummin of Catalytic Generators Australia. “The entire industry comes together for this event.” This is the first time since the start of the pandemic for visitors from all Australia’s states as well as foreign visitors to be able to attend.

Catalytic Generators is looking forward to welcoming new and existing customers at booth #268. “It has been two years since we have been able to show our products in person, so I am expecting lots of interest from people who haven’t seen our products yet,” said Cummin.
On display will be Easy Ripe and Citrus ripe portable generators. In addition, the company’s centralized ripening system will be shown. “These products are the most efficient and effective way to ripen fruit and de-green citrus on farm or in ripening centres.”
