Founder and principal at 210 Analytics, LLC, Anne-Marie Roerink will kick off the summit with a presentation on the table grape’s U.S. retail performance over the last year. A grape perspective panel moderated by Hazel Tech’s co-founder and CMO, Pat Flynn will follow. The panel features Jasmine Vineyard’s operations and food safety manager, Luis Katsurayama and Hazel Technologies’ business development manager–agtech, Nico Tomicic. Grower spotlight videos will be played throughout the summit and Mario Cervantes, director of business development–agtech at Hazel Technologies will close the event highlighting trials focused on postharvest technology for the category.

“Traditional table grape varieties represent the bulk of sales over the latest 52 weeks,” said Roerink. “Innovations in the category are also driving exciting new growth. I look forward to sharing more details about the versatility of the table grape and its successes over the last year on Friday.”

“Greener stems at destination markets around the world, even with longer transit times, give greater returns to growers, importers and retailers,” said Cervantes. “Hazel delivers a solution benefiting the supply chain from beginning to end and I can’t wait to share the results we saw while trialing table grapes last year.”

The Grape Quality Summit is a free event and will offer both English and Spanish translations. Registration is open to the general industry until May 6th or until capacity is reached.
