Summer 2022 will see the novelty of La Grande Bellezza Italiana's mountain cherries, which will allow this product to reach Italian and European markets from June to September.
"The first production will start in Apulia for the months of May and June, and then continue until September with the product at high altitude, at about 500/600 meters, cultivated in the mountains of the province of Cuneo. This will ensure that we will always have a premium product, selected on the basis of 28+ gauge and with guaranteed organoleptic quality. The packages will be 600 grams made of paper and PLA," explained Leonardo Odorizzi, a member of this business network.
The packaging will be made of 100% recyclable paper and with a see-through paper made of corn fiber, so that the cherries can be visible inside, but without using traditional plastic. La Grande Bellezza Italiana will be attending for the first time the Marca trade fair in Bologna (12-13 April 2022).
"We are finally beginning to feel an upgrade. We have chosen to work with Italian trade fairs with a view to replicating the successful results obtained at Vinitaly and Cibus, fully aware of the importance of reaching out to more customers, even the most skeptical ones," continued Odorizzi.
"Marca is the trade fair dedicated to the large-scale retail trade. Only a few dozen companies in the fruit and vegetable department will be taking part in the Bologna event, which in total has over 900 exhibitors."
