Dole again joins with McDonald's as Red Fuji Apple gift box hits the market

In 2021, Dole and McDonald’s jointly launched the Golden Pineapple Sorbet to start the early summer ice cream market. This year, Dole and McDonald’s once again launch a fat-free apple sorbet, bringing seasonal flavors.

Therefore, this year, McDonald's chose to join hands with Dole again to jointly develop and create a dessert that meets the needs of the current market - apple sorbet. This time, Dole Red Fuji apple juice is added, and the soft texture is created through the cutting-edge technology, showing a natural fruity aroma and light-sweet delicacy. Since no milk or cream is added in sorbet, it is more suitable for young consumers who are pursuing a low-fat diet and the balance between health and deliciousness.

Red Fuji gift box hits the market
In conjunction with the launch of the co-branded Apple Sorbet, Dole will launch a commemorative Red Fuji apple gift box. The gift box adopts a trendy design style, combined with the brand characteristics of McDonald's, and uses lines to outline the shape of the apple. Dole will showcase another star product that will win the favor of McDonald's and consumers.

Dole Red Fuji apples are picked in Shandong, with red peel and firm flesh, sweet and crisp. In Dole's selected orchards, Dole's strict standards are followed from planting to harvesting.

Bagging technology is used to reduce the use of pesticides in the apple planting process, and 206 pesticide residue tests have been carried out to ensure food safety. The orchard adopts manual picking to protect the appearance of apples and avoid bumps. Each apple is manually screened and standardized to ensure the quality. Each Red Fuji apple in the Dole gift box is manually screened multiple times. Only the ones with a flawless appearance, suitable fruit shape, red peed reaching more than 85% of the body, and a diameter over 85mm can be selected.

The Dole Red Fuji apple gift box, with a novel and trendy packaging design, coupled with good-looking and tasty red Fuji apples, is suitable for gifts and self-consumption. This gift box will be launched simultaneously on Dole JD’s self-operated store and flagship store, Tmall, Pinduoduo, Douyin and other platforms.

During Apr.14 to Apr.17 in 2022, there will be a 1 yuan special activity, limited to 20 gift boxes per day. Soon, consumers will be able to buy the gift box from supermarkets and other offline channels.
