The next edition of medFEL, the essential meeting for the Fruit and Vegetable sector in France will take place on April 27th and 28th in Perpignan Exhibition Center.
Sponsored by the Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée Regional Authority and organised by the regional economic development agency AD’OCC and SPAS Organisation, medFEL 2022 is expecting qualified professional visitors, who will come to meet 200 exhibitors and attend various conferences, during 2 days, to have a complete overview of the market.
Indeed, medFEL goes beyond the meetings between exhibitors and visitors and aims to provide information and useful content regarding societal expectations and environmental challenges. This two-day gathering of producers, suppliers and processors from all over France is also a showcase for a sector that is committed to sustainability, innovative and resolutely essential. More than ever, following the public health crisis that we have all experienced, companies in the Fruit and Vegetable sector have to fulfil consumer demands related to
sustainability, CSR, environmental protection, zero pesticide residue, etc. These themes will be at the heart of the programme of this new edition.
medFEL will give the floor to experts of the sector, during conferences and round tables, which will take place on the Agora, at the heart of the show. This year, two headlines will also intervene during the 2 days of the event. Expert Guests, they will offer their insight into the major challenges facing the Fruit and Vegetable sector. Both are coming from a different field, their interventions will complete each other and allow us to take a step back on the challenges of the sector, from upstream to downstream.
The European harvest forecast for summer fruits, real trademark of medFEL will be announced during the show. Furthermore, medFEL will give a chance for the Lab’Innov startups to speak and pitch their solutions. This will be a real opportunity for them to present their innovations and their services in front of professional visitors, looking for the latest eco-responsible trends of the sector.
