"Over the past two years, we've heard many people saying, 'when we're allowed again'. Now, that time has indeed come, and we can meet at Fruit Logistica," says Sandra van der Veer, responsible for product and concept development at Oxin Growers.
"At the last Fruit Logistica in 2020, Oxin Growers had newly emerged from the Best of Four and Van Nature cooperatives' merger. We haven't been idle since then. We'd like to give visitors to the fair an update on our products, sales models, and working methods, which we want to grow together. You can also take a look at our special products and get a sneak peek of the Oxin Growers' new box line."
Oxin Growers has, in addition to its existing brands, developed a fresh, modern line of boxes for various products. These are ready for production for cucumber, tomato, bell pepper, chicory, and cabbage. The Oxin Growers boxes' design includes the required legal packaging information, and they are clearly identifiable in the logistics process. "We want to eventually be able to offer all our products in Oxin Growers boxes," says Sandra.
Versatile range
"Oxin Growers, one of the largest growers cooperative in the Netherlands, does the marketing for its members' fruit and vegetables. We arrange the contracts, invoicing, payment, and payment security. All Oxin Growers' fresh products are cultivated with care and attention by skilled farmers in the Netherlands and Belgium," says Ton van Dalen.
"Our affiliated fruit and vegetable growers work very responsibly with water and plant nutrients. All Oxin Growers' cultivation companies are GlobalGAP certified. And depending on which customers and markets they supply, they have additional certifications like BRC or On the way to Planetproof. Some of our members even farm organically."
