All-New iNTELLIPRO SAW

New fresh-cut technology solution launched

The Team at PROEX FOOD has been busy in 2022 preparing to launch a new line of equipment and technology solutions for fruit and vegetable processors and packers.

“We are developing Intellipro, our new group of products here at ProEx Food, capable of data connectivity and other future digital features,” says Nick Maglio, director of marketing. “This design is meant to bring modern, data-driven, intelligent capabilities to our customers’ processing and packing lines.”

The first of that is the new ProEx Food Intellipro Saw. “This new, innovative unit is a must-have for fresh-cut and tray packed sweet corn processors and offers a higher level of capacity (200 – 300 ears / units per minute) vs other saws,” says Ross Lund, CEO of ProEx. “It also focuses on significant improvements to maintenance and waste removal and, as an Intellipro product, is made to integrate with our Intellipro Connect system. This unit helps our customers increase capacity, improve safety, reduce maintenance times and reduce labor. The response we’ve received from the market has shown us how hungry processors are for the innovations we are actively bringing to market, and has been exceedingly positive.”

The Intellipro Saw is made to work perfectly to top and tail and/or segment product in fresh-cut sweet corn lines and with other long vegetables such as celery, cucumbers, leeks, zucchini, etc.

The Intellipro Saw is the result of rigorous R&D at ProEx. “Our rich history of sweet corn installations means we hear feedback from many customers around the world. They needed a more robust system, one that simplified maintenance and was more compact,” says president and CTO Daniel Ghadiri. “This unit does all of that, and is the best unit available in the market today. Blade maintenance and exchange is fast and easy, general maintenance and sanitation has been simplified, and we have more sensors and data points than ever before. This unit is a prime example of how we prioritize connected systems to help customers digitize operations. We are very pleased with the results. We also have robotic loading options available for processors looking to further automate their lines.”

ProEx Food is showing this unit at Fruit Logistica in Berlin, Germany April 5-7. See them in Hall 4.1 at Stand C-10, where it will run daily demos at 2 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and noon on Thursday.

The team will also be present at Anuga Food Tech in Cologne, Germany April 26 – 29.
