International fruit and vegetable producers to visit soon

Lan Handling organizes second edition Expert Days

Lan Handling Technologies in Halfweg will welcome dozens of international fruit and vegetable producers on 11 and 12 May. The End-of-Line edition of the Expert Days focuses on the latest trends and developments in the field of automation.

In line with the theme "from packaging to palletising", various renowned players talk about the latest insights, trends and innovations. For example, Fanuc (robot supplier), Multivac (packaging machines), Manter (weighing equipment) and Euro Pool System (crates) are present.

Workshop tour
In addition, the doors of the new workshop at 157 Haarlemmerstraatweg will open for the first time. Visitors can then see various fresh produce handling systems in action, with dolly/crate loaders, robot cells and palletisers.

Potatoes, carrots, onions, salads and more
Many food producers can be found in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the UK that use Lan Handling's solutions for the secondary packaging process. Think of potatoes in bags, boxes and crates. But also fruit and vegetables in flowwrap and top-seal packaging, such as ready-to-eat salads or corn on the cob and avocados. Automating such production lines from packaging machine to palletizing area is a major challenge and is done by Lan Handling in collaboration with various suppliers, who are all present.

More information can be found at www.lanhandling.com/expertdays. Registration is based on availability and participation is free.
