Nearly 60 directors, managers and sales agents of summer fruit producing and marketing companies took part, last week, in the seminar organized by the PDO Peaches and Apricots of France, in Carry le Rouet, on the Mediterranean coast.
In a context of complex international relations, difficult markets and rising production costs, this meeting helped to share a lot of information and better prepare the upcoming season.
Our discussions included the production plans, agroecology, Eco-Responsible Orchards charter, as well as marketing and promotion tools to support the sales of our fruit.
In addition to the professional exchanges, this meeting succeeded in bringing people together and encouraging discussions, after several months marked by the cancellations of these fairs and other professional events. The atmosphere of the meeting was also very friendly!
The season will continue to be prepared with mass retail partners, wholesalers and all the networks that trust French companies and the Eco-Responsible Orchards label. The reputation of the label, patiently acquired with consumers, represents a guarantee of trust for professional distributors and offers many axes for growth to the producers. The road to agro-ecology and quality to which we are committed is ahead of us.
