The newborn Agroadriatica was founded with a base of 15 companies and a 40% export rate

A Consortium in the Marche region with two thousand hectares of horticultural crops

Agroadriatica Società Consortile, a consortium that has 15 companies, a total of 4000 hectares, of which about 2000 (including the various transplants during the year) are dedicated to horticulture and whose president is Alessandro Rocchetti.

The Consortium

"We are committed to working increasingly better also by focusing on foreign markets and on organic products. The large-scale retail trade is our natural outlet, and in the immediate future we will develop products packaged in flow packs, which is already a consolidated format for some of our producers. We have certified organic production, and this allows us to conquer market shares beyond our borders. At the moment, the main countries are Germany, Switzerland and Austria," said Rocchetti.

Round red radicchio, long red radicchio, lettuce, leek, fennel, endive, curly endive and cauliflower are the most cultivated winter references. The company is located in Potenza Picena (Macerata) and the farms are located in the provinces of Ancona, Macerata and Fermo. The official presentation took place last week at La Cipolla d'Oro restaurant in Potenza Picena.

"Programming, market and innovation are our three main priorities. Soon we will evolve into a producers' organization whose objective is to become a point of reference for the Marche region both in terms of production and also in the implementation of important technological and production innovations".

The newly born Consortium also has another peculiarity. "Our structure allows entrepreneurs to be directly involved in choices, in strategic industrial decisions, as well as in investments and therefore also in profits. In short, they are actively part of the Consortium by means of their vote," concluded the president.
