WP5.7 Weighing System
Dutch Weighing Company introduces a new version of its weighing solution, the WP5.7. The WP5.7 system is an improvement in software possibilities with management software, efficiency, and user experience. The weighing system is ideal for packaging companies that check the weight of fruit or vegetables.
The WP5.7 system operates in combination with our latest management software development “Atlantic Logic”. This Amazon Cloud based solution ensures complete control over the efficiency of the production lines. Both via PC controlled management software and a web application. Operators can easily work with the LED bar system as integrated in the touch screen controller, that indicates when a punnet is within the tolerance area and can be processed. The last stable end weight will be stored in the management software, making operator and weigh performance available for reporting and statistics.
Unique is the specially developed ℮-weigh registration software and minimum weight including Target Weight Optimization software. The tolerance range is automatically adjusted per weighing system or per component if the average weight of all weights deviates from the set target weight. This allows the give away to be reduced to an absolute minimum and makes weighing faster by 25-30%.
DWSortipack – Automatic Grading, Sorting and Packing
One of our other latest innovations, the DWSortipack, is our innovative and disruptive robotic modular solution for Automatic Grading, Sorting and Packing. This system is initially developed to handle chicory, but can be adapted to handle different crops, vegetables, and fruit.
The system weighs the crops and saves and connects all data by using a vision system. The software calculates the optimal combination out of 36 crops. The selected crops will be automatically moved by the flexpicker to the infeed belt of the flowpack machine.
The DWSortipack was developed in collaboration with Crux Agribotics to bring an innovation to fresh produce companies worldwide. The innovation automates an important part of the production process while offering flexibility, reducing give away to an absolute minimum and increases capacities in a more hygienic way. In addition, the DWSortipack is a compact solution, resulting in the system being easy to fit into an existing situation.
