Het Packhuys will debut with the Fusion at Fruit Logistica

From April 5 - 7, Het Packhuys hopes to participate in Fruit Logistica in Berlin. It will be a first for them. This Dutch company will present its latest innovation, the Fusion, to the public in Hall 9, stand C-01.

You can use the Fusion to seal cardboard foodtainer trays with wings or flaps. It folds and punches the cardboard trays together without using glue, plastic, or labels. The machine can also be optionally equipped with a built-in label applicator. That folds the trays and closes them using a label.

Het Packhuys developed the Fusion in-house. Its compact design and hygienic construction make it ideal for packaging products like apples, pears, citrus, avocados, kiwis, and sweet potatoes.

How the Fusion works
The Fusion is supplied with filled trays via a feeding system. The machine has a two-part feeding system that places the trays the correct distance apart before they are correctly folded and punched. This machine also has an easy-to-understand, easy-to-use touch screen with various options.

The Fusion's operating system is Windows-based, so if the machine has the optional built-in labeling system, you can add a labeling program like Nicelabel. This program lets you use the touch screen to create a label layout for the machine.

Thanks to its clear, user-friendly touch screen, the Fusion offers a very flexible solution for different packaging formats. You can easily adjust the machine without having to change out parts. So, operators can access a straightforward application.

As mentioned, this is the first time Het Packhuys will take part as an exhibitor at Fruit Logistica. The company will, of course, be present at its top seal machine supplier, Packaging Automation's stand. Packaging Automation will present and demonstrate its latest high-speed top sealer, the Evolution-S, at stand A-10, also in Hall 9.
