France: Engaging fresh produce SMEs in a CSR approach

After more than 15 years spent on the Rungis market working for various operators of the fresh fruit and vegetable sector, Frederick Basset founded Fraich’RSE this year, a new outsourced, time-sharing CSR management service for operators of the fresh produce sector.

This service is intended for all the companies that would like to implement a CSR approach within their organization. “The goal is to support the companies that find it necessary to commit to a CSR approach but are not certain about the benefits or simply do not know how to get started. Label, diagnosis, carbon footprint, roadmap, greenhouse gas: I offer a structured approach and want to provide solutions and accompany my clients in the long term, until their company gets the label,” explains Frederick.

Established at the heart of the Rungis market in the Rungis &Co startup incubator, Frederick is currently looking for a company to support in a CSR approach, as part of a training he is undertaking to acquire the CSR expertise that will complete his experience in the fresh produce business.
