Assomech was founded by Davide Borghetti, Peter Calisesi, Matteo Molari and Stefano Rossi with the aim to design, build, set up and maintain machines for processing (weighing, calibration) vegetables. The company has already built several vegetable processing lines, even though it is very young.
A processing line in the assembly phase
Each of us has around twenty years of experience and skills in the sector. We have joined forces and offer an all-round service. We don't have any ready-made projects, but every customer presents us with his requirements and we find a solution,” explained Calisesi, sales manager.

The newest lines are based on technology 4.0 and are therefore eligible for Italian subsidies for innovative technologies. "We have so far delivered lines to companies that have just started processing vegetables, as well as machines to replace outdated equipment. Technology is moving so fast that it is essential to keep up with it in order to be able to offer a final product quality that is in line with, or better than, that demanded by the market".
Design, assembly and service are included in Assomech's services
On the horticultural front, Assomech builds lines for potatoes, onions, carrots and all other vegetables. "The current situation is causing a delay in deliveries, but thankfully we have some very reliable suppliers who are doing everything they can to stay within acceptable delays," said Calisesi.
What is most important to Assomech is the fact that "all the planning is done after a detailed on-site visit, because a processing line is just like a piece of clothing and it must fit exactly. If everything starts with a tailor-made project, the customer will have considerable gains in efficiency," concluded Calisesi.
