In 2020, the supply of bananas to the EU countries came mainly for Spain -as far as European production goes- as that nation shipped 382,3 38 tons of the fruits, valued at €450 mln.
France was the second largest provider -via its holdings in Martinique and Guadeloupe- bringing in 184,414 tons, worth €114 mln.
