Goodfarmer and Mr. Apple sign strategic cooperation agreement

The Shanghai International Fruit Expo is officially opened. The theme of this year's edition is 'Global fruit, Chinese market'. This expo is specialized in the Asia-Pacific region, but brings together high-quality fruit from all over the world to promote developments and innovations in the fruit industry.

Goodfarmer Group was one of the international participants in the Shanghai International Fruit Expo. Companies from many countries came to showcase a wide variety of products during the expo. They caught the attention of strategic partners in China. Mr. Richard Dunsheath, the New Zealand consulate assigned to Shanghai; Mr. Zhang Jingshen, the CEO of fruit brand Goodfarmer Group; Mr. Qin Jian, China market representative at New Zealand Mr. Apple, all gathered at a ceremony on the afternoon of November 16th to witness Ms. Wang Yun, manager in charge of product planning at Goodfarmer Group, and Mr. Winstone, Asia-Pacific consultant for New Zealand Mr. Apple, sign a strategic cooperation agreement. Together they added their energy to Chinese fruit market developments.

Mr. Qin Jian, China market representative for New Zealand Mr. Apple, made a statement during the signing ceremony: "We are grateful to Goodfarmer for their support during the difficult challenges of the first two quarters of 2021, and with their help the sales volume of our fruit still expanded by 75% despite the difficult circumstances. We hope to reach even more long-term goals with Goodfarmer in 2022."

Mr. Zhang Jingzhen, CEO of Goodfarmer Group, added: "Goodfarmer joined hands with Mr. Apple during the previous apple production season in New Zealand, and together we overcame difficult challenges in production, distribution, and storage. Not only did Chinese consumers become even more fond of traditional New Zealand apple varieties such as the New Zealand Queen and Royal Gala apples, but they also learned more about other top-quality apple varieties from New Zealand such as the Small Flower, Bright Red, Fuji, and Heavenly Queen apples. Goodfarmer Group and Mr. Apple representatives signed a strategic cooperation agreement to further deepen their strategic partnership. Mr. Apple benefits from the extensive, nationwide distribution and marketing network of the Goodfarmer Group to write new chapters in the Chinese fruit market."

The signing ceremony marked a milestone in the cooperation between the Goodfarmer Group and Mr. Apple. The cooperation is based on the principles of 'complementary strengths, shared construction, and shared benefit'. Each company brings in their own resources and management strengths to create an even stronger player in the global fruit industry. The comprehensive strengthening of their partnership is a step towards a mutual benefit.
