Terra Mia Italia introduces food boxes containing regional products

Terra Mia Italia keeps on working on a far-reaching project in the Italian high-quality fruit and vegetable sector.

"The company's goal is to enhance the value of agricultural products by guaranteeing quality, certifying the entire supply chain through a dedicated and personalized Blockchain provided by Food Chain, by using genetic markers for each product, and by protecting the Made In Italy and the Made By Italy labels. In this period, we are also preparing high-quality food boxes that represent regional products," said Marco Bellucci, president of Terra Mia Italia and a consultant in the food sector for the promotion of Italian food products at a domestic scale and abroad.

"This is the first food box with some typical specialties of Calabrian producers is available in the US through the link and in Italy at The boxes are made by Consorzio Motta, recently awarded by UNESCO. Included in the package are specialties such as flavored honey, jam, candy, an essence of Bergamot of Reggio Calabria, pomegranate juice, a jar of 'Nduja, a package of figs, a liqueur, Italian extra virgin olive oil and a Passito wine produced by the farm Baron G.R.Macrì. 

The Bergamot processed products are from the production area located between the Calabrian provinces of Villa San Giovanni and Monasterace. The baskets will be offered by Terra Mia Italy during the upcoming Christmas period and throughout the year.

Terra Mia Italy is a network of companies for the protection of Italian food. The new project aims to fight against counterfeited food. This project is based on a network that brings together about 150 references and 400 companies of the Italian territory, producers' organizations and cooperatives.
