Registration open for Food Africa importers program

Brazilian companies intending to participate as importers in Food Africa, a food show in Cairo from December 12 to 14, must register with the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) by October 31.

The institution is convening interested parties, supporting the Egyptian Economic & Commercial Office in São Paulo. Applicants could be selected for the show's Hosted Buyer Program, which entitles them to benefits such as hotel accommodation during the show.

According to information disclosed by the office, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Egypt, in cooperation with the event organizers and an association that brings together food exporters in the country, would like to receive importers from different segments, such as fruits, especially dates; and frozen foods, chocolates, cheeses, vegetables, and other products. Food Africa is organized by the IFP Group and Konzept.

The selection to participate in the Hosted Buyer Program is made according to the buyers' profile and the definition of the benefits they will enjoy.

Food Africa is the largest international show specializing in food and agribusiness on the African continent and is considered a gateway to markets in the region. It will take place at the Egypt International Exhibition Center and will have exhibitors from sectors such fruits, vegetables, grains, cereals and many more.
