This week, Spanish products will begin arriving from Murcia and Almeria at ZON to be auctioned. Zucchini, broccoli, and green beans are up first.
The supply from Spain will grow as the weeks go by, depending on how the supply of the relevant Dutch products develops, and, of course, on the availability of Spanish products.
Auctioning good quality fresh produce remains a priority at ZON. This season, an inspector with check the products in Almeria itself, as will ZON inspectors in Venlo, the Netherlands.
