Lan Handling Technologies will soon welcome dozens of representatives from international food industry companies. That will be on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 November. During this two-day event, various renowned players from the food chain will take to the podium. They will discuss the latest insights, trends, and innovations.
This Dutch company will also open the doors to its 5.000 m2 workshop for the first time. Plenty is going on there too. That includes a rotating pouch handling system with an in-line dryer. And a de-watering unit and shuttles that load and unload autoclaves.
Jars, cans, meal bags
It is only in the Netherlands and Belgium that you find large food producers sterilizing and pasteurizing their products. These processes include not only canned goods in jars and cans. They also do vegetable and meal packs in stand-up pouches and pre-cooked potato products. It is quite challenging to automate such production lines. That is from filler to packaging machine. Lan Handling did so in partnership with various suppliers, all of which are local.
