CEO Varun Khurana:

‘Otipy focuses on-demand harvesting’

According to the company founder and CEO, Otipy focuses on technology-driven, on-demand harvesting to keep food wastage to a minimum.

Founded in June 2020, Otipy is a business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) agri-tech startup operated by Crofarm India. It connects end consumers to farmers via a community of resellers who handle the last-mile delivery of fruits and vegetables. With the help of AI-based demand prediction, it leverages historical data to procure farm produce.

The company recently raised $10.2 million in a Series A funding round led by SIG, Omidyar Network India, along with participation of existing investors Inflection Point Ventures.
