Fruchtwelt Bodensee

On the lookout for start-ups within fruit growing and agricultural technology

They take care of innovative plant protection, optimize cultivation methods and fruit waste recycling or find new ways of direct marketing: We are talking about the innovations made by German start-ups for fruit growing and agriculture. At the Fruchtwelt Bodensee trade fair in Friedrichshafen from February 18 to 20, 2022, young entrepreneurs will be given a platform to draw attention to their concepts and make new contacts. From now on, new companies can apply for the start-up area of the trade fair.

"The premiere of our start-up initiative at the last Fruchtwelt Bodensee in 2020 was a great success. At the upcoming event, we will again offer market participants the chance to showcase their innovative products and services," project manager Petra Rathgeber from Messe Friedrichshafen announces.

Establishing contacts
"The exchange between young and established companies enriches both sides: One benefits from the experience and the other from the innovation or new way of thinking." This is confirmed by Dr. Sebastian Terlunen, Managing Director of Münster-based start-up FrachtPilot: "Participating as a start-up at Fruchtwelt Bodensee 2020 was a complete success for FrachtPilot. We were able to take away many contacts that have helped us in the development of the company in the long term."

Farmers, fruit producers and distillers from all over Europe will meet from February 18 to 20, 2022, to learn and exchange information about commercial fruit growing, distillation and agricultural technology from more than 350 exhibitors. The technical highlight of the fair will be the 40th Lake Constance Fruit Growing Days with a program of lectures on current topics relating to cultivation methods, management, processing, marketing and new legislation.
