Fruit Tech, the new space dedicated to innovation and digitization at Fruit Attraction

The next edition of Fruit Attraction will incorporate Fruit Tech, a new area that will be entirely devoted to innovation and applied technology in support of the digitization of the fruit and vegetable sector. The new Fruit Tech area, located in the core of pavilions 6 and 8, will have a virtual set, augmented reality spaces, streaming broadcasts, and robotics, among other things.

Fruit Attraction, with the collaboration of the Casual Robots Pro company, which specialized in RAAS (robotics in service), will have several robots representing Pomona, Fruit Attraction's digital assistant. Casual Robots will participate in Fruit Attraction as a partner of Ifema Madrid with its MindCobots system, a software capable of unifying customer services at the fair, coordinating different tools (terminals, accesses, advertising, information, registration, home automation, and signage, among other things), using AI and collaborative swarm robotics.

In addition, the fair will have an Augmented Reality space where people will be able to see what the supermarket of the future will be like using virtual reality glasses. The space will have a selection of simulated products and people will be able to obtain additional information from them, such as their origin, nutritional characteristics, and recipe tips, among other things.

Participants will also be able to walk through the corridors of Fruit Attraction with their virtual glasses and the development of the most interesting moments of the fair will be broadcast in real-time through the LIVEConnect platform.

The virtual set of Fruit Tech will host interesting interviews with professionals in the sector that will also be broadcast on LIVEConnect. Some of the participants include Jorge Brotons, president of FEPEX; Luis Miguel Fernandez, manager of the Association of Organizations of Producers of Fruits and Vegetables of Almeria, Coexphal; Aurelio del Pino, president of the Spanish Association of Spanish Supermarket Chains (ACES); Joaquin Gomez, president and manager of the Association of Producers Exporters of Fruits, table grapes, and other agricultural products, Apoexpa; Miguel Angel Gomez, manager of the Extremadura Fruit Growers Association, AFRUEX; Fernando Gomez, director of the Association of Producers Exporters of Fruits and Vegetables of the Region of Murcia (Proexport); Rafael Dominguez, manager of Huelva's Association of Strawberry Exporters, Freshuelva; Aurora Dominguez and Sheila Argaiz, president and manager of the Riojan Association of Fruit, Vegetable and Nut Entrepreneurs of LogroƱo and Rioja, and Raul Calleja, director of Fruit Attraction.

To complete the Fruit Attraction 2021 experience, there will also be an opportunity to relax and have fun at Fruit Dance, the interactive stage where you can dance different choreographies with various animated fruits and share your experience on social media with the entire fruit and vegetable community.
