Jaime Mendizabal, commercial director of Maf Roda:

"The industry has understood that automation is a necessity to ensure survival"

This year, Maf Roda Agrobotic will again attend Fruit Attraction, where it will showcase its innovations in sizers, quality systems and solutions for fruit and vegetable facilities.

The multinational is facing the new season with great enthusiasm, given the growing demand for process automation in the sector. In the words of its commercial director, Jaime Mendizabal, "process automation and the implementation of new technologies for fruit sorting and grading is a trend that has been making headway for several years now in both large and small and medium-sized players in the sector. The sector has perfectly understood that, today, process automation is not a minor issue, but a necessity to ensure the survival and growth of their companies."

As has been the case for several years now, Maf Roda will be exhibiting its sizers and key innovations in stand 10D09, Hall 10, so all visitors will get a chance to see how the machines work. When asked what products we will be able to see at this fair, Mendizabal said that "on this occasion, it will be possible to see how quality analysis tests are carried out on a wide range of fruit with Globalscan 7. This year, the new Cherryway IV sizer will also be showcased in operation. This is a sizer that is revolutionizing the market with its patented 4-motion rotation system, which makes it possible to see the fruit's entire surface and considerably improve performance in defect detection." Other custom-tailored turnkey solutions offered by the company will be showcased, as well.

The company's national and international sales team will attend the fair to show visitors the wide range of solutions they offer and to outline their working model, based on customer support from the start and which continues for as long as the line remains in operation.

When asked about the objectives for the new season, Jaime said that they want to continue leading technological development and providing reliability and a quality local technical service to their customers, just as they have done up to now. "Although it will be a somewhat different fair for obvious reasons, we are looking forward to returning to Fruit Attraction and seeing each other in person after almost 2 years of pandemic," says the recently appointed commercial director of Maf Roda.
