The Shanghai Covid-19 prevention team announced on the 16th of August that the city meets all the national requirements for prevention and containment, and they therefore decided to change the status of the city to 'minimum risk' effective from the 17th of August. Transport and production were all completely restored.
The Shanghai International Fruit Exposition was originally planned for the period between 12-14 August, 2021, but after careful deliberation and consultation of various parties, the organizers decided to postpone the exposition until 8-10 October, 2021. The Shanghai International Fruit Exposition will take place in the Shanghai New International Exposition Center.
The unpredictability of the Covid-19 pandemic has inconvenienced the participants and visitors of this exposition, much to the regret of the organizers. According to one of the organizers: "We will continue to work closely together with relevant government departments, and we constantly keep an eye on developments regarding the pandemic. We strictly implement the government regulations for the prevention of Covid-19, and we will implement a variety of preventative measures in the exposition hall to guarantee safe and orderly proceedings. We also work hard to spread accurate information and send out invitations in time to registered participants and visitors."
"We thank all the participants and visitors for their understanding and their continued support. And we look forward to welcoming everyone to a successful, wonderful, and satisfactory exposition in October. We trust that the wait will be more than worth it. We look forward to seeing you all in Shanghai where we will share unlimited commercial opportunities."
